In February this year my wife and I brought a Z4 E89 28i. After buying a new supersprint Exhaust things spiralled in to a full referbishmenrt! I'm not normally one for posting on forums as I'm more of a browser, however I am so pleased with the outcome I was going to gauge interest to see if there is an appetite for a build thread?

OK? Seems like there is at least a bit of interest. I will post pics and give a bit of detail what I did over the next week or so when I get a moment. The project overall lasted 8 months with me only doing it on Sundays and on Saterday.
As mention we brought a Z4 E89 28i 2016 in velencia orange
with design pack and huge spec. Car had covered a tad over 38k and had a few body issues, some bad scratches etc. The milage was a tad higher for what i wanted vut spec was mega. I'm ocd and I'd normally walk away from bad body work but I could help myself wanting to get her good as new agian. Price also helped when I manned to wangle the car from 18.7k to 16.4k. I consider a 35is beforehand, however having a B58 lump in my M240i I thought having the 28i with a few choice mods and remap would be more than enough for weekend fun / cruiser.
First job was to sort out the body work. It got booked it to BMW Synter Nottingham where I've had loads of work don't and happy with there work. As mentioned there where a few bad scratches to sort out. I had the bonnet, front bumper, rear quarter and OS door painted. Whilst it was in there they removed 3 car park dings too.
