E89 2.0 M Sport inspections 1&2 listing

Dear all
Can anyone point me in the right direction for an electronic version of the above. Looked everywhere but I can't find anything?

No such things as inspection 1 and inspection 2 on CBS vehicles (condition based servicing)

The order is from 2009 to 2014 (IIRC) brake fluid change at 2 years from build. Oil service (inc filter) with air filter and micro filter at 2 years after first registration and at 4 years brake fluid and oil service (inc filter) air filter, micro filter and spark plugs. Also at 4 years from build BMW want you to have a vehicle inspection in addition to a service (waste of time to be honest)

From 2014 it was the same expect the first brake fluid change was at 3 years and then every 2 years there after.


Supposedly BMW are supposed to check the items to be changed and if they are deemed still good should not be replaced but it seems BMW don't stick to that and change them anyway. Or at least claim to on invoices.

Thanks very much for this. I'm very grateful. I'm off to the Pyrenees and Andorra in a couple of weeks so wanted to check everything without paying my local dealership a fortune! That's if I can get the fuel in France of course.

Good luck with that

If you do need a service you can go online via BMW and get a quote for the service you require assuming you don't have a service pack.

Or alternatively get a local Indy to do the work.

If you input your registration and mileage at BMW-Service.co.uk, it will then show you the relevant servicing options, along with a list of the items the dealer is supposed to check under 'what's included).
