Crikey I am bored today - Hopefully start new job on Monday!!

right had another go with the video before the rain started down at Exmouth beach - nearly ran the gopro over thankfully the nice white van man tucking into his fish and chips spotted and tooted - bit less traffic this time

Would be nice for a similar video from a 35i etc to compare.

My 20i makes the burbling sound if I rev it on the drive - what causes this....I assume its the desired sound?
 
Probably better to compare with a 2.5 six. Happy to provide the equipment if anyone wants to try it who lives nearby

I bet the 3.5 sounds pronominal
 
I feel I need to get my other half mics set up on the 35is. I'll investigate when the weathers nice.......hopefully this weekend
 
Remember this was done with a gopro with no external mic. While the gopro is excellent in all other ways the sound quality or recording level is not great

Says it has all 4 cats removed. I remember my mate made a straight through exhaust for his mk1 super sport fiesta out of a scaffold pole. It sounded good!
 
Now I want to do one driving flat out with no speed humps and no traffic to run over the gopro if it falls off. Sadly tomorrow I will be driving round in the qashqai getting quotes for keyed paintwork repair
 
Oh and what is the cause of the farting noise you get after hard acceleration and upchange?! You can hear it in the OP's vid at 57/58secs. It gets louder and longer the harder and higher you rev. Happens to me especially in sport mode if I rev it up to 7500rpm and smack in the next gear. Blurrrrphh. It makes me giggle every time. :rofl:
