E86 plate

This may be a strange thing to do but I like a bice plate on my cars. My mercedes E320 cabriolet has the Index... E320 CAB.
I will be at some st buying a E86 Z4m coupe possibly in the summer but jumped on an appropriate plate.....
My initials are SLT........
So E86 SLT bought today fir its reserve from DVLA auction for £130 with fees think £254....

I’m sure E86 BMW is for sale on eBay? Maybe you can get a good deal? Been on sale for ages! Have a quick look :thumbsup:
 
That looks like a bargain OP - just make sure you buy the right car! :)

I've never had a personal plate, but if I ever did I think I'd want it personal to me with no link to the car - that way it could go on anything.

I've seen a few Land Rover products wearing "X5" plates - which doesn't really work. :lol:
 
Bargain that - and personal to you & relevant to your intended purchase of the Z4MC.

I bought mine from their retail site but E86 with my initials wasn’t available so I had to settle for E8 - that cost me £250 including fees.

Went for short metal embossed plates which look good on the E86 - also removes the plate mount from the front and attached direct to the car which makes for a cleaner more minimalist look :thumbsup:
 
Meant to add - great car for a private plate.

Most people I speak to having answered the “what car is that?” question don’t believe me when I tell them it’s a 12 year old 56 plate :D

Been on there for over two years. The stupid way the “timed” auction works on the DVLA ment that I was beaten after having to leave after the auction was extended 3 times. He finally won it for £960. He has had it up for £4500 and slowly reduced to £3000 it’s on his E92. The funny thing is, have a look at the other tat he is trying to sell!
