E86 Door Sills

The originals looked a bit dated and as I'd wrapped all the Aluminum panels previously thought I'd use up the off cuts. Popped out the BMW logo and then reset it.

Great job! I think that looks really smart in the 2nd shot.

IMO the overall look of the aluminium trim isn't ageing well, when I compare it to my Dad's piano black. Plus that wrap covers up the sins of little surface scratches nicely. The sill trim has always been a bugbear of mine, doesn't seem premium enough but that has sorted it!

That looks great, which wrap have you used? And was it easy enough to do?

I don’t know whether to try wrapping the inside trims myself or have them hydrodipped.

Removing everything is the most time consuming part. Wrapping is pretty easy and fun if you use an arts & craft heatgun. This wrap is 3M Di Noc and very good quality. Hydro-dipping would look great too I am sure.
