Hi forum. Due to incoming boring car for new job, I have to part with one of my Z4s. You may have seen my other advert for a bargain Maldives Blue 2.5i roadster, here:
https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=136544

*** This ad is for my 2007 Monaco Blue 3.0Si coupe ***

I purchased this car at the beginning of lock-down as I knew I wouldn’t be doing the business miles that I had been and I fancied something that I would enjoy driving and looking after. I didn’t know anything about Z4s at the time, in fact I had never owned a BMW before, but I was sold on the combination of head-turning good looks, exclusivity and straight six engine.

The car was fairly basic spec but needed absolutely nothing doing. Two years and four thousand miles later she has had a few “comfort” upgrades (M-sport seats, cupholders, cruise control). And, other than a CDV delete by RBM, remains mechanically standard.

fBMWsh. Last service 2 at RBM @c.50k

Good points:
- Starts, goes and stops as it should
- No oil leaks or any other leaks
- Excellent bodywork, no dents or dings
- No codes on a Creator C310+ (never had a code in my ownership)
- Engine bay and underneath very clean

Not so good:
- Roof does not work
- Minor road rash in the usual areas (front end and towards the rear of the sills), but paint is generally very good.

Price to forum members is £11,495 with the fitted M-Sport seats and choice of original genuine 203s, which are quite rare, or unique Matt Bola Bronze MV1s. If you prefer the original SE spec seats instead, then £10,995.

That's a shame Ben as your Coupe is really smart.

Hopefully you'll sell the Roadster!

One or the other Iain. I have a special attachment to the coupe, but the roadster is really fun. I just can’t keep two Zeds with a work car incoming.

Smart looking car that Ben- love the reg too

Knowing what I know of your cars that will be very well looked after

If its still for sale when I shift one of mine we will have a serious conversation...

Cheers buddy, I hope we do.

Hi, would love to come to see your lovely car, love the colour too! BTW what colour are the Oregon seats you mention? Please message me on 07973 186183. I am in Twickenham so not too far to travel!

Hi Scott, they’re black, same as the M-Sports, to match the door cards. I’ll message you.

Had the very pleasant experience of meeting Ben on Saturday and seeing and being driven in his very clean dark blue E86, a treat of a car with sensible mods and upgrades well thought out and executed, so a car with the SE badge but the sports seats fitted (non heated, not that it matters) and an added loom to install cruise control. This car is immaculate under the bonnet, the bodywork looks very clean with the usual minor flecks, and a choice of wheels to choose from, the gold would be my preference. As Ben pointed out this car has been garaged and it shows, only had one previous owner. The SE ride shows well, it doesn't really need to be any harder, it felt extremely well planted and balanced on the road into corners and powering out of them, and oh the huge torque seemed to make this a totally effortless drive and picks up so well in all gears, so a very relaxed effortless drive in an almost show-room clean inside.

I would highly commend this car Ben us selling for a very fair if not generous price, if only I could give the dark blue bodywork the promise of a frequent wash it requires.

GLWTS Ben, a big thumbs-up. Look forward to keeping in touch with a real enthusiast!

Looks good and has the all-important cruise control for a daily driver. Pity I'm at the other end of the country (Stonehaven) as it'd be hard to ignore if you were close.

Good opportunity to bond with your new car on the drive home, make a day of it

Scant interest on here so far, so she’s on Autotrader at 11,995 with the M-Sport seats.
Am I being fair with the asking price, assuming a new MOT and fresh service?

That doesn't sound unreasonable Ben, but I suppose listing it is only one way to find out!

jamie-innes had to drop the price of his Red one to get a sale. :(

GLWTS.

And . . . Sold.

There seems to be a lot of cars coming up for sale on the forum and I have to say it’s a rubbish place to sell a car, although it’s great in other respects. Autotrader, on the other hand, generated a lot of interest.

So my advice to anyone selling a Z4, put it on the forum, but don’t rely on the forum. To anyone buying a Z4, it’s an excellent place to buy.
