E86 clutch pedal sound???

Hi, I recently bought a E86 3.0si with 25000 miles on the clock. I noticed that when the car is cold and i put it into gear and let the clutch pedal out to the bitting point there is a sound as if a spring is being released. I'm not sure if its characteristic or there's a sticky spring in either the clutch assembly or the clutch pedal??
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as its going back to dealer next week to have rear parking sensor replaced and fog light condensation addressed. :D
Apart from these minor points i'm absolutely loving the car.
 
The clutch disk springs are unlikely to make noise, if they did, it'd be a rather deep clunk I should think. If the sound is more of a light ping, it's the pedal return spring. It's probably nothing to worry about, but can be rather annoying. To be sure, a visual inspection is in order to make sure nothing is amiss. If all appears in order, you could try greasing the connection points to eliminate or reduce the noise.
