E86 3rd Brake Light Springs

Hi All
Im in the process of replacing my 3rd brake light, however the springs 63257184919 are NLA.
Any ideas if there is alternative to use? Or is it ok to use my existing ones?

I've had the light on/off on two zeds and reused the springs both times, no issues. They taper slightly outwards to one end, which makes them less obvious to find a replacement for. I'm sure there would be some out there that match if you have broken ones though, just might take some finding.

I've ordered from here, although reading some reviews after ordering I'm not sure if I'm confident of getting it! I think this should be the updated spring that is a bit weaker to help avoid the light cracking.

The one time I replaced mine, I used the old springs. No issues.

I replaced mine 2 weeks ago used the original ones

One of mine got damaged, hence ordering a new one, but I've used the originals on all the others.

Just to close this off, fitted the new brake light today and used the previous springs and all fitted perfectly.
