Regrettable sale but looking to find a new home for my Z4.
Only purchased back in April with the aim of having a weekend toy but quickly realised a weekend toy and 2 under 2 doesn’t mix. As a result I feel guilty with the little usage and looking to find something child friendly (hopefully still fun….)
Good:
- No lights on dash and starts first time everytime
- Roof motor relocation by ZedShed via previous owner
- Full stainless steel catback exhaust from Gavity performance purchased by myself and fitted by specialist.
- Multi-Functional Steering Wheel
- Heated Seats
- Automatic Headlights
- Replaced Fuel Cap Seal since recent MOT
- Replaced brake plate since MOT
- MPS tires all round, rear are relatively new
- Bluetooth AUX adapter to come with car
Bad:
- Paintwork, lacquer peel on front offside, boot lid has cracking and dull paint. The paintwork in general is something that if you are looking for a perfect car needs attention.
- Intermittent knocking from rear on pull away, I have had this inspected by a specialist and nothing came back. After my own research I put this down to worn bushes but never been flagged on MOT etc
- Crack on the centre console below the hazard light
MOT
- Most recent was May this year which passed, only ever failed once in its 18 years
- Since the MOT I have replaced the fule cap and the brake rear plate.
- I had the brake line which is down as an advisory checked since, and nothing came up.
Service:
- lots of stamps in the book, 11 in total.
- serviced every year since 2021
- lots of receipts for work/tires etc over the last year
Not sure if this is a good or bad point but also bought a new seal for the windscreen, the current does not leak but starting to perish with age but never got round to replacing.
I have tried to be as honest as possible in the advertisement. Not looking for mega money for the car as I understand it is not a beauty queen.
