Hello everybody,
I have a problem with my xenons not auto-leveling.
I already checked both level sensors and they seem to be fine. I also checked the wiring for the front sensor through the wheel well and couldn’t find any visible damage. I measured the front sensor wiring with a multimeter — it gets 5V, and I also checked for a short to ground with ohms, but found nothing.
I even ordered a brand new front sensor, but I still get the same error code.
The headlights do the self-check when I turn the lights on — they go down, then up, and stay up. But if I turn the lights on after the engine is already running, the error code doesn’t appear. However, in that case the headlights also don’t do the self-check.
The error code in INPA is:
34 LWR, vorderer Beladungssensor Kurzschluss nach Masse
(Front ride height sensor short circuit to ground)
Has anybody experienced this before or knows what else I should check?
Thanks!
