Refurbished the old wheel off of my roadster and it’s now up for sale. Completely decontaminated, cleaned, sanded and recoloured the leather so it looks and feels really good now.
Could have left the silver spokes but they were a little tatty in places and a couple of the lugs were broken which I glued back together. I decided to sand down as best as I could (the chrome plastic reacts very differently to the MSport plastics). Then treated to 2 coats of plastic primer, 3 coats of matte black and 3 coats of matt lacquer. Its feels a little rough/textured on some of the areas, but nothing you’d notice or annoy you. I’ve tried to show this in the pics.
