Hello all,
As I am looking to sell my Z4 in the near future I am changing bits back to stock and therefore have my custom sports backbox for sale. I had this fitted by MIJ Exhausts in Walsall a couple of months ago and it does sound fantastic.
It has 2 flanges welded onto the inlet pipes so all you would need to do is cut off your original box and match up 2 more flanges to the 2 pipes on the car. It has 2 mounting stays welded to the box which perfectly match up to the car's rubber mounts.
In terms of the sound it's quite a bit louder than stock, you get fantastic pops and crackles on the overrun and really brings out the best of the straight six. Please note that if you use your Z4 on long motorway journeys you may find this a bit loud as it does drone quite a bit, but with the roof down you hardly notice it.
Collection is preferred due to size from Barwell, Leicestershire but I'm happy to meet someone <15 miles away.
