E85 Roadster Tonneau Roof Cover thingies

Hi,

Lord knows what these are actually called. Been sat in the boot of the car and only fitted them twice at car shows. There are some scuffs/chips on them, which I've tried to show in the picture. Fit perfectly and can't see the scuffs when fitted. Looks like they were probably dropped on their ends at some stage.

Comes with a carry bag with velcro strip to stick it to the boot carpet. Full instructions included (really, like they are that tricky to fit!)

£50 + £8 delivery UK Mainland (or collect free from near Swindon).

BMW just call these roof covers I think - if Christmas had not already despoiled my wallet I'd have these as that's a great price. Can't believe no-one has bought these. You don't get much change out of £100 if you buy these new from the BMW on eBay.

I saw those when I was trying to price mine, but they have a part missing that locks it in place.
 
Silly questions? Are these quick to fit and take off? If not, when would you use them in this country? :!:
 
RoadsterSolutions calls them "Convertible Top Covers"- $144.95. They are far from rare. I always thought they looked nice but you have to remove when you take the top back up. A minor inconvenience according to Keith.

Just got back from the post office ;)

Was fun writing the article for the Straight Six Mag. I'm supposed to write an article for the registers section at the back as well, but never seem to have enough inspiration at the moment!
