Holes starting to get too big to hold the shoe pinsWhat I’ve done to avoid replacing them is add a big washer to the bolt. You might have to cut the washer into shape with an angle grinder.
Also depending on how thick the new washer is, the bolts might not reach the thread again. I had a few spare bolts lying around if the same size, so I cut them to required length.

Just put a nut and bolt through the shoe and backplate, with a large washer so it can’t pull through the hole.
