Mine came (direct from BMW) with only one key, that fits both front and side locks.

Interesting. These are my keys - the bottom one locks the sides down and the top one locks the front:
I'm wondering if the top one is missing an end and that the bottom one was hand made to replace it because it would make sense to only have as single key?

I'm sure someone was selling a reproduction of the hardtop key?

My error. For some reason I thought my OEM key was shorter on the rounded pin end and I missed the broken tip viewing on ipad
