E85 hands free retrofit

Hi

Has anyone gave the below or similar a go? I’m looking for a decent hands free calling solution. I can find a lot of threads with Bluetooth music options but not much in the way of hands free calling.

I would be interested to know if anyone has used a similar method to the below and what your experience of it was.

Thanks

Fitted bluetooth hands free and audio streaming media bridge. Coded comfort open and close including roof. Visual indication lock and unlock. Passenger window onetouch open and close. Windows operate after ignition off and doors open. Roof operates while driving.

Only thing I've found is in the "What have you done to your car today?" thread in which this gentleman said he had fitted one :) unfortunately thats all Ive got...

Thanks and Sod’s law his account has been inactive since 2019 :(

I may just bite the bullet and go for it, another Z4 related package to hide from the Mrs

Not sure if we’re talking about the same thing, but the Bluetooth adaptor I fitted includes hands free. Obviously it’s not like a modern, where you can access your phone book etc, but it’s ok and cheap. eBay item no 384262753191
For some reason, as it comes, it takes its power from a permanent live, which meant that I had to manually connect my phone by Bluetooth every time. By changing that wire to a switched live, the phone automatically connects

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I have one fitted - as mentioned a few times on here. It comes from from Christian Wittisch in Germany and sold on Amazon. I had the stream only version before and upgraded. It works fine and auto connects with my Samsung S10 for streaming and phone. The downside is that the radio has to be on as it does not turn it on if a call comes in. One caveat also - I invariably stream music or book rather than listen to the radio so I'm not 100% sure if it will change source. For the cost though it works very well.

Just to dig up this thread again.
I have an E85 where the multi-cd changer has been removed as jammed up and a bluemusic dongle thingummy connected to the cables behind the centre storage. But this is the simple one that does not do the handsfree as well.
Is it simply a question of swapping to the handsfree version?
If so, is there sufficient cable length to position the microphone: and where is the best place for it?
Thank you.

The one I fitted ( see above ) works fine for receiving calls, but for some reason, it’s very quiet ! I’d prefer not to use the phone in the car, so I live with it
