E85 FRONT BUMPER REMOVAL

Is it pretty straightforward as the front bumper needs removing and fitting again properly (id say it may need some brackets or something if anybody knows what i need)

Try https://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=79994&highlight=bumper. There are a few linked posts that have more information and som cautions. As you might expect, virgin bumper cover removal can be daunting. Relax and have fun. With some degree of effort, the brackets attached to the frame(?) can be replaced if broken. Alas, the tabs on the cover cannot. Careful.

Removing and refitting the bumper is fairly easy, especially with an extra pair of hands to disconnect wires / washers. However it seems you are re-fitting yours because it’s badly fitted, then it will depend on why it’s not on properly in the first place. Photos help.

It's simple enough if some chump hasn't drilled the bumper in with wood screws, like I found with mine :roll:

There's some really good instructional videos on YouTube. Be careful with the bumper brackets either side, as they break easily. They're about £26 from BMW if they do break. Don't buy them from ebay/Amazon as they'll try to charge you double that...
