E85 - Dashboard Christmas Tree

I've got a 2006 Z4 E85 2.5 - been well looked after and usually doesn't give me any issues. Only used during summer and on a trickle charger the rest of the rest of the time.

Had it out for a couple of weeks so far this year and and the dashboard is intermittently lighting up - pic attached. Thought the battery might be on its way out, so I've replaced that - but still getting the same issue. Car runs absolutely fine when it happens but obviously a bit worrying.

Cant see it being the cause - but I have the trickle charger connecters permanently hooked up to the battery - pic of that attached too.

Has anyone had the same issue?

Thanks!

Get your codes scanned I would say that is ABS sensor fault
Stuart, I think the ABS sensor usually puts the tyre pressure light on as well?
Of course, codes will define the problem, But I think I would start by putting the drivers seat forward and sliding my hand under the carpet. If it comes out wet then expect a code that says lateral acceleration or something similar, and look for a new yaw sensor.

Next question, on a 2006 plate, is that facelift or prefacelift? The difference is significant if you need a yaw sensor. Prefacelift £30-50, facelift £150-200 (all secondhand)

Thanks for the reply - Tyre pressure light is usually on - I'd just knocked the ignition off when I took the original pic.. but heres another that is what is usually looks like.

Also - completely dry under drivers seat

Not sure if relevant - but it also has a slow puncture on the rear passenger side, whihc was totally flat a couple of weeks ago when I brought it out of hibernation.

Its the facelift  :D

OK, back to Stuart's initial assessment then, which is cheaper hopefully. If it were a low tyre then the tyre light would be red.
A decent code reader will tell you which of the abs sensors to change.
Have you had any work done in those areas recently? I killed one with the shock whilst hammering a stuck brake disc off.

No work done at all recently, so hoping its just the ABS sensor. I'm no mechanic, so its booked in at my local garage next week to be looked at

Thanks for the help, will update again when its been looked it!
