I have an 08 Z4m with bi-xenon automatic leveling headlights. Both need to be replaced. Any aftermarket available? Can I simply replace with standard Xenon and bypass the leveling?
Standard xenons also have self leveling - it’s a legal requirement for all xenon units. Did you mean replace with Halogens? Yes you can but imo the light out put from the halogen units is atrocious.
Finding secondhand xenons in good nick is rare and expensive when you do. Mine need replaced too (pitting/fogging on the inside of the lens) but I’ve given up looking and just living with the lights as they are.
