E85: Best OEM quality floor mats?

Any recommendations and links? I’ve had mixed experiences with mats and really don't want the type that move around much. Ideally as close to OEM as possible with the way they fix to the floor.

Why not just OE? I can't remember them being *that* expensive.

Are they still available do you think? Read a thread on here from a few years ago saying they were discontinued.

IIRC it's only the "M" specific ones that are NLA - someone had a tired pair up for silly money a year or so ago!

I'd buy OE for a Z4, but have bought generic ones a few times for 3 Series' because they always come as a set of 4 and I only really need 2 at most.

Cheers. I’ll see what Sytners Lincoln have available to order

I’ve got a brand new set of black mats from CarMats.co.uk available… decent quality and perfect fit.

I ordered them as I was precious about the supplied bmw mats…..

Let me know if your interested in these….

Will have to get my original champagne ones out of the loft...add a nice lump sum to my pension pot :P

BTW, over the years, I've flipped between rubber and velour as the mood takes me, and the last velour set I bought felt really cheap compared to the ones I was replacing...and the velcro on the back came off after about 2 weeks...so don't know if it was a one off, or due to a change of supplier.

Put a set of all-season rubber ones back in for now.

Did have a set of lamsbwool ones in a Jag I had once (came with them), but they were £200 if I wanted to replace them and a right PITA to clean. Wouldn't suit the Z4

Sopers of Lincoln, or Cotswold BMW seem to be the favourites.

If only your M mats weren't champagne!

Ordered a set of original BMW mats when I swapped out my beige for black interior, but was left disappointed by the quality provided by BMW. I had one original black floor mat that came with the black donor interior, and it was considerably higher quality fabric than the current OEM option. So were the old beige ones for that matter.

Might want to look into some of the alternatives provided above, and as always: YMMV
