E85 audio advice please

Hi all....loving the forum and all the good info here.
I have a audio setup question, I'm sure its been covered before but I have some niggles that need sorting :?
I had the Business 6 speaker system.
I have replaced the standard business head unit with a Kenwood dab/ Bluetooth unit, installed with a harness adapter and mfsw adapter.
The previous owner has put Harmon kardon door mid range speakers in the doors.
I seem to think it does not sound as good now as with oem setup ...the Kenwood has loads of settings and I have played with them all to no avail.
Also left and right channels are reversed and the mfsw buttons work when they feel like it !
I don't want to spend a fortune on audio kit and don't want a boot full of amps and subs...just want a nice full sounding system...any suggestions welcome before I dump the Kenwood :headbang:
Thanks

You could try a new set of matched 3 ways in the front, such as the focal AS3s, and if that doesn’t do the business then unless DAB is a deal-breaker for you I’d return to an OEM headunit from eBay for the looks, bluemusic or bluespeak adaptor for phone, and optionally a small amplifier.

You may find some inspiration in my thread, and some of the others’ I mention and link to

I have just looked at the Focal 3 way set (£199.99) and looks good , my only concern is the size of the crossover unit , best to mount in the door ( if space allows) or somewhere behind dash , obviously this would then mean running 2 pairs of cables through to door for mid and high frequency?
