Afternoon All,
I figured I should finally introduce myself as I've been in the Z for a few months now and have been lurking on the forum for a while, getting plenty of information from the wealth of knowledge you guys have!!
In hindsight (being the wonderful thing it is) I think I may have slightly overpaid. Although the mileage, condition and service history are all very good, so I justified the price tag. Not to mention the grin on my face every single time I drive it
I've already compiled a list of jobs to do, at the moment it is mostly restorative/preventative measures (such as re-locating the motor, reviving the leather seats and fabric roof, etc etc) but I'm sure as time goes on I'll start to look at the more 'interesting' mods  That being said, I'm such a spanner when it comes to using a spanner that I even managed to snap the thread connected to the aerial base when I swapped it over for a stubby...that was the first trip to BMW for spares!!
Anyhoo - hopefully I'll be around lots and keep you updated to my progress, and then inevitably ask for advise when I've made a mess
Below is the picture I took when I bought it, been trying to keep the thing clean ever since!
