TBF you may not get too much feedback on here as most forum members are in the UK, where we never got the 3.0i facelift model. All UK 3 litre cars had the 3.0Si engine, and our 2.5Si made similar power to your 3.0i.

But more power is never a bad thing so good luck with your quest!
