E85 2006 2 litre Diff question

Their is 2 bolts at the bottom are they both drain plugs?

I have read that these only have the one fill plug (no drain). To drain, you need to suck the oil out through that fill plug with some sort of syphon/suction tool.

The Allen bolts will be the fill/drain on BMW diffs/gearboxes.
The regular hex bolts in the photo will be to hold on the rear differential cover, so definitely don't go undoing those!

Nope, they'll hold on the rear cover.

Something annoying like 1.1l. Just enough to need 2 bottles, but I don't remember exactly
