E85 2.2 timing chain

I've read a few post recently about timing chains needing changing when the engine is around 80k miles.
Our 2.2 is getting close(78k).
Does the timing chain need changing around 80k or is it just a precaution.
Engine is currently super smooth and no issues.

It’s not actually a maintenance item and there is no set interval. They’ll do 200,000with no issues.
Mines coming up to 120,000 and I have no plans to change it.
