E46 Space saver - shorter bolts required or not?

Hi all

I’ve just bought an E46 17” space saver and was wondering will I need shorter bolts like you do on some Mercedes.

I’ve googled it and from some comments I’ve read it appears I don’t BUT can someone who has used one on their Zed confirm this.

You don't on an E46, and the Z4 and E46 use the same running gear.

Yes, it should be fine.

I've never used one on a Z4, but I had to fit the space-saver to my E46 years ago and it was fine with the same bolts as the alloy that got a puncture.
