Anybody tried these for their Z? Read a couple of good reports on other BMW models, apparently they're somewhere in between stock and solid style mounts. They seem to give a better shift. I'm going to try them with the delay valve mod !

Quick update. Got the M3 mounts. They seemed identical to the original's. Hard to say if they're stiffer, but I fitted them anyway whilst doing the cdv mod. Definitely an improvement in first to second, not huge but some. The originals were over 80 thou miles old, so could just be that!
On the CDV mod, I clamped the pipe with a proper pipe clamping tool, removed the valve and fixed the pipes back together. I didn't have time to bleed the clutch, so just tried it. Pedal was spongey as you'd expect! Left it a couple of days and it bled itself. Great mod, far better without it!

EBay. Febi bilstein part. Listed for E46 M3 and CSL. £24 plus del. Easy job. Remove drivers side heat shield. Support box with a Jack in front of support. Remove support bolts to chassis. Remove passenger side mount top nut with ratchet spanner or small spanner(leave bottom one on, to give you better idea how they go back) . Remove drivers side mount bottom nut. Slide out support towards passenger side. You can then easily get to the drivers mount top nut. They have lugs on one side and a cut out on the other to line up,that stop them twisting when tightening/undoing. Refit is the reverse. Torque settings are quite low, I can't remember them so Google job. Oh, you may have to fashion some washers for the heat shield. Mine had rotten around it's lugs. Takes longer to get the thing on stands !
