Hello All,

In a valiant effort to have the company Dynavin create a Aftermarket stereo option for our Zeds, I have linked the neighboring site from across the pond with hopes that it will get support here. If you have NAV and have been in any other car of the same age you have probably come to the same conclusion, that indeed we have rather outdated NAV and Stereo options. If you dont have NAV you know how inconvenient it can be to have your mobile or GPS unit sliding around your cockpit or mucking up the interior style of your Z4. This company has been building great units for others BMW models, yet has not created a Z4 option as of yet. Please read through the links or leave a comment either in this thread or send an email to the company so we can generate more interest in creating a Dynavin option for our Zeds!!!

Reputation rather poor from what I have seen on the xdrivers forum.

Reputation may be poor with the X guys, but pretty strong following with both the 3 and 5 series gents. An additional option would also be better overall, as our current options are either aftermarket that does not look OEM or OEM retrofit that is both difficult and still looks outdated. Lets get some support for another option and more functionality!!!

Well, most of the reviews were actually pointing to the E46 zone forum where the users were complaining of a lot of software bugs.

I have used this in an old e46, other than the odd software version with bugs...I thought it was a great piece of kit.

Looked OEM but gave u everything u could want at a good cost & in one.

Definitely count me in. Would need it to fit in/work with my OEM nav. Would be great if we could detach the current screen & stick the new one in.

OEM appearance with more functions would be a great option for us z owners. Would most be interested in a Drop-In style or leave the OEM one shut and have another unit that would incorporate both the a/c vents and NAV? (i.e. the 1 series model). Like any new software im sure the bugs can be eliminated by upgrades to the software as time goes on and the company expands its features to the products. This would incorporate NAV into those cars that didn't come with NAV, and give us guys that do have NAV another option with more functions. So what could it hurt if there is another option for us?!

if this would solve my broken mk4 nav unit, give me an "intravee type" conection for iphone maybe a cd player too and all work through the pop up screen/steering wheel controls without not change the appearance of the car inside (maybe rplace the minidisc) then i may consider it. keep us updated
