DUAL CAR INSURANCE

I have 5 cars with Admiral to be honest for mine and my wife's cars it is just about worth it but it makes a big difference on the costs for my kids insurance meaning they can actually drive decent cars with reasonable insurance cost. as others have said they do try and screw you at renewal. last year i got the renewal price down by almost £1000 meaning that the Z4 cost me a whopping £103 to insure for the year.

One of the many benefits of being an old fart, cheap insurance on a high insurance rated car! (I am making assumptions there...!)

Another for admiral here, cheapest but as everyone else said, never blanket accept the renewall! Also have had to claim through them for non fault and actually were alright

I currently have the Z through chris knott and I am hopefully getting a 1 series (White E81 120D to match the Z  ) so hopefully I won't have to pay too much more?! I assume the fact my Z mlles will basically half or more as no more work miles or driving through winter means that would come down slightly? Or doesn't it work like that?

Any advice welcome :D

It didn't with Chris Knott for me and at the time both my Z and my wife's car were insured through them. When I bought a daily they couldn't mirror my policy and so their quote was massive therefore I insured my Audi with Tesco.

When I came to insure my Z this year I thought I would be fine with CK, no business miles, no commuting, 3k per year, garaged, not driving it for 5 months of the year, over 15 years no claims bonus, 48 years young and and again CK had me going round all the comparison sites etc. getting prices before they would give me a decent price (even though I was already with them). When I got a much better price than their renewal price they just matched it. So instead of having three cars insured through them, I now have just one.

I hope you have better luck than me!

Yea last year my premium went up, and after several phone calls etc. They agreed to price match the comparison markets, just a shame they won't just offer you a fair price to start with!!!
Guess I'll see soon :fuelfire:
