Ok guys first let me make this crystal clear I know absolutely nothing about cars oily bits ! Air and petrol are my limit !
So I was talking to a mechanic guy the other day and explained to him about the yellow DTC/ Brake Warning Lights that I get coming on intermittently and explained that it only seems to happen when it's very warm weather ? Here's the twist -- he told me he once had a similar problem with a ford Mondeo which was a nightmare to trace no faults with the car but it kept displaying fault lights he told me it turned out that the wiring loom to the particular sensors was so tight that when the weather was hot the wires in the loom expanded and caused the push connectors to move (expand) off the terminals only very slightly but enough to cause fault lights - so I opened the bonnet this was a totally new experience for me ! And had a look at the wiring to the two sensors on the master cylinder and ! The wiring was quite tight not pulling but tight so I just eased the loom back the other way to put some more slack into it ! Up to now I've had no fault lights for over a week ????
So to all you tech guys I ask the question is this a possible solution or just something I should spread on my roses and put down as coincidence ??
