DSP adaptor vs downgrade stereo?

Hi,
sorry but have a question. I have DSP stereo setup in my zed. I am going to try and sort out an intravee and was going to get a dsp adaptor to do so....
BUT.....
given that I'm using a convertor... what would be the difference in fitting the none dsp stereo? is that possible? I mean am I going to notice any difference in sound quality given that the audio source is going to be the same so from an ipod into a dsp adaptor Vs from ipod into none dsp stereo?
Is it hard to do? I don't have storage boxes as I have speakers so would they be irrelevant?
Any thoughts?

Anything is possible if you're willing to put in the time, effort and money. The wiring harness is different, so if you were to go that route, it really makes more sense to do a completely non-OEM head unit and amp with custom wiring that natively offers the features you want. In any case, the subs where the storage cubbys go are useless as they are driven by some strange voltage only offered by the DSP capable amp.

Are you sure you even need the adapter?
I have DSP and an intravee with no adapter.

Pre face lifts require an adapter.

See i thought this was the accepted answer....
