DSC Warning Light On

Following a recent trip out over the weekend the DSC warning light for the braking system has come on. The warning lights cover the DSC, ABS and brake system and they are all yellow. Car seems to be functioning all okay and no tell tale signs of anything more problematic that I've read on other threads. Car recently passed its MOT with a clean bill of health bar the rear springs which were both replaced. Before I book it back into the local garage are there any basic checks you can recommend that may be staring me in the face? I'll start with the sensor connections tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.

Sparky.

Just nite that your hill hold function will not work whilst the lights are on.

As for the cause, could be an abs sensor at best, or the abs pump at worst.

Some have been finding that moving the steering all the way from one side to the other makes the light go out, indicating a steering sensor - but I am not familiar which one that is.

Thanks for coming back on this one. Decided to purchase a C110 Code reader and sure enough its flagged up the dreaded abs pump code. Threads on here go into great detail and I could be looking at anything from a cheap sensor replacement to £2k + bill. Will take it to a local BMW approved engineer I know to see if I can get it returbed as some people suggest.
