DSC module appears to be leaking?

Was changing my bulbs today and I noticed a leak from the drivers side wheel arch. Upon investigation it looks like it's coming from the bottom of the dsc module. As you can see from the pic it looks like it's from the corner and not any of the pipes?

Does this mean I have to replace the whole module? Amy idea what an indy would charge?

Thanks

That's odd.
For enough to leak to drip down to the floor I would have thought the reservoir would be looking low too.
And isn't that part of the unit the electrical gubbins?

Don't take this the wrong way, but have you confirmed it is in fact brake fluid?

Whenever I've seen a brake fluid leak it tends to leave a very clean track behind it, and if it's been there any length of time the paint will be starting to blister.

Thanks gents.

My first thought was it's oil. But that's the only place I can trace any leak to? When I touch under the module its definitely wet. I can also make out a wet track down the inside of the wheel arch. But the leak doesn't appear to be coming from any of the pipe connections? Perhaps it's the join between the fluid and electrical unit?

I’m not sure if there are any pressure sensors between the valve block and plastic section? I’ve never taken one apart. Someone else might know

Logically there ought be some form of seal for the pump motor and actuators. There's usually plugged machining holes in the body too.

(Long time since I got close to a DSC unit and didn't dismantle it!)

Managed to get my fingers under the module. The leak is definitely coming from there. I think it's where the pump unit meets the silver section, where the pipes connect to. The reservoir also looks lower than yesterday :headbang:

Guessing I will need a replacement unit. Will post in the parts wanted section.

Thanks all

Thanks Big! I ended up ordering one from fleabay right after posting that.
Then proceeded to educating myself on DSC modules by watching videos on YT! Came to learn there is a long torx bolt going from the pump.
After becoming an expert in a matter of minutes, i thought i could fix it
After a lot of faffing about, tearing my hands apart and losing the torx in the engine bay, I managed to tighten it ever so slightly. I'm hoping it will be enough to stop the leak?

If it works I will return the one I have ordered 8)
