Dry fog lights!

After getting my zed home I noticed that both fog lights were swimming in water which seems to be a common problem, I thought ventilation might cure the symptom (if not the cause) so drilled a couple of small holes along the bottom face of the light



The marks that are still visible are just soiling from the dried out lakes that existed before...
Not so visible from the front



If you have wet fogs it's worth doing IMHO

I have just spent the last couple of days stripping mine down, having then sand blasted and repainting before putting them back together. I am hoping to refit them tonight and will post some pics

I have one condensated one. Do you think a hole drilled in will be enough to assist with the circulation and potentially dry it out?

That's exactly what I did & it has worked (over a couple of months)

I did the same and think I posted a thread about this??? Can't remember now but has worked for me also but it is summer now. I still intend to drill a hole at the top front of the lens also it's ok letting air in to but heat rises and needs to get out somewhere so think this will help also and clear the problem totally (just my opinion)
