Hello everyone, this is my first post so please be gentle.... 
I have recently purchased a 2007 E86 Z4 3.0Si which had a little problem with the passengers side window struggling on opening that I knew about when I purchased it - anyway today I replaced the regulator cables as per the instructional videos I found on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqIWUrI2VFE) and performed the reset procedure within these forum pages (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37104 andhttp://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=72860&p=1069176&hilit=window+reset+procedure#p1069176) but now I have a little problem - When I open the door it doesn't drop the 5mm that it used to, if I push it down manually it will roll back up 5mm when I close the door.
The window seems to function perfectly well other than this, single touch up and down and a nice smooth operation, I just have to remember to push it down before I try to close the door.
I suspect that this is a set-up issue or adjustment procedure that I have not performed correctly, but I welcome any help or advise that anyone has to offer.
