Drone on motorway at 3.5k RPM

Does anyone else have a slight drone at 3.5k rpm at steady state cruise?
Mine's a 3.0Si coupe, unmodified AFAIK.
Gets a bit annoying but i reckon some dynamat in choice places might help?

Has anyone else had this or is mine a bit dodgy?

I think it's a characteristic of the 2.5si and 3.0si. Mine has a slight drone at 80-ish. I wish 6th gear were longer.

Yep mine seems to have this.

I recently had drone start on a long motorway journey eventuality started to happen at 30 and was pissing me off so got the garage to check and it was a faulty wheel bearing.

This is not very pronounced and sounds acoustic/exhaust rather than mechanical
