DRL Problem

Ok my problem is this:
Got back from my Indy and he programmed several options but was unable to get the DRLs to programme. He did try several times but it just wasn't happening. He thinks the car may need reprogramming and then the DRLs set again. Now i need to get the blowers repaired as in auto the vents often don't come on unless I wiggle the left dial (warranty work I hope). Now when they do this they will need to reprogramme the car?? Once this is done, Indy garage will programme the DRLs free of charge nice bloke. So my question is whether anyone has had or heard of issues programming the DRLs?

While the HVAC module may need to be re-programmed, it has nothing to do with the lighting module, so will not help your DRL issue. I've not heard of anyone having issues setting the DRL option, but strange software glitches do happen, so a problem like this is not that surprising.

If you're having a dealer do the HVAC work, why not ask them to enable the DRLs whilst they're doing the work? It's done with the same software though in a different section, my dealer did this for free while doing other warranty work.
