Driving to Devon, lunch stop

Tomorrow I'm off to Devon. Heading down the A303 leaving London/banstead about 11.30am. Looking for recommendations for a lunch lunch stop about 1pm to 2pm.

Any suggestions?

Still a few Little Thief's on the A303 if you fancy an Olympic!!!!!! Popham is the one that Heston Blooming'ell did a few years ago!

not many food stops any good on the 303, but take the a35 coast rd al the way to honiton, \\\\\\\ I always stop at The Old Inn gammons hill kilmington Ex13 7RB, when i am down that way , great food, came across it first when back and forth to bournemouth to view / buy my coupe. ... enjoy

You could try the Weatsheaf pub at woodford, its just off the 303 just past Amesbury. I lived in Amesbury a few years ago and went there quite often, the food was really good.
