Driving round with the roof up in baking sunshine

Same as some of you... If going to visit a site i would leave the roof up.

Also the wife often doesnt want her hair messed up!

Otherwise my roof is down eveyday!

sometimes its seems a bit burny with the roof down. usually when sat at lights on the way home so no suntan cream.... i have the top down alot but i do find i tend to try and stop in shade quite often. also i do it quite often but i find on motorways it can be annoying and massively fuel hungry

The first thing I did when I got my car was put suntan lotion and a hand cloth in the cubby behind the passenger seat. As for having the roof down being fuel hungry, I can't say I have noticed, unless you mean that having the roof down encourages more spirited driving... Which is entirely possible

no calls from me brother having a less than perfect barnet is why I bought a coupe,my head burns when I'm out cycling and walking certainly dont want it when I'm driving too.

Umm, i've been driving the company 1 series all week... And def windows up ac on! Especially on the motorways.

Haha! You must be joking! It's very nice to get into a nice, cool, air-conditioned and shaded environment when you've been walking around central London all day or stuck on a train for hours as I often am.

Why go to the faff of buying a convertible unless you use it whenever you can!

Also to the person who mentioned night driving above - driving through the city at night with the roof down is amazing.
