Drive on Broken Spring

Discovered I had a broken rear drivers spring yesterday. Only a small amount has broken off (see pic). Hopefully the garage will replace next week. My question is, can I drive for the next few days on it, will it do any damage?

Most of us have driven round without knowing the spring is broken, just don't do anything stupid.

As the man said don't go crazy and you'll be fine, had mine for a week before it was replaced no problems to report!

Decfective car - know about the defect - drive the car regardless - accident - big bucks. Is it worth it?

As said just take it easy should be OK its the loose part of the spring that can do a lot of damage to wheel but you have that out of the way but never drove mine once i knew

All fixed now. Garage replaced both rear springs and sorted the windscreen wiper motor (which had gone mad!) all under warrantee. Even gave me a ford focus for the couple of days they had the car. God it feels good to get back in the Z after driving the focus. Have to say a big thanks to the Wexford Car Centre who sorted it all out for me in a very professional and courteous way, thanks guys!
