Drive Dynamic Control

I have just finished the first 900 miles in my new Zed (300 miles to go before I can safely push the engine over 4,500 rpm :D ). I have Sport mode all the times because the steering is just too light even at speed round the corner in Normal mode. The engine response to accelerator is also slower in Normal mode. Does anyone agree?

I also tried Sport+ but of course nothing could be noticed. I think the difference can only be shown on the track where you can powerslide it. :driving: Is the only difference between Sport and Sport+ the reduced assistance from DTC?

The default when you switch the car on is Normal, but every now and again I stick it in Sport and it always feels amazing, tho around town it feels a bit jumpy! :D I think you are right, only difference between Sport and Sport+ is that DTC is activated in Sport+ mode. Then again you could put it in Sport mode and press the DTC button separately??? :?

I drive mine all the time now in Sport mode. Prefer the throttle & steering response more! I agree on Sport+, simply turns off traction control and more likley noticeable on the track.

I agree. It would be a great feature to control the steering assistance separately from the other modes.

I do experience the same. The DSC of my 30i E89 intervenes more than my 2.0 E85 did. Especially when exiting a curve and floor the throttle is a complete different experience. The 30i reacts 'very softly' on this action and feels really dull in normal mode. I have no idea if the sport mode reaction is faster, but definitely slower than my E85 2.0 did.

From what I could tell on my half day 23i test drive, Sport+ felt no different to Sport but then I'm not hanging the tail out on the Cat and Fiddle either!

I pick up my 35i with adaptive suspension on Saturday so I'll see how firm the suspension goes in Sport+. Firmer that the original zed so I hear *ouch*

In sport+ and with 19" wheel's the ride is better than an E85 with 18" wheel's :)

Christ, did the old one ride that hard? The diagram I saw suggested a firmer setup on the E89 in sport+. I did a test down a very bumpy single track road yesterday and can confirm there is a huge jump in firmness from sport to sport+ but body roll is virtually eliminated.

I've driven an E89 with 19's and there isn't a lot of difference between 19's and 18's to be honest as far as driving is concerned. I did find when pushing on the 19's are a little slower on turn in into corners, something that probably would be felt more on a track though to be honest :)
