Double Check a Paint Code

[Z4 Coupe]

I'm getting my bumper resprayed as it has some road rash. To save on time the guy asked for the paint code.

I read on here where to find it but when I found the paint code it wasn't quite in the format I was expecting.

It says "silbergrau-metallic" "/schwarz"

Now being fluent in German :wink: I know that this means "SilverGrey-Metallic" "/Black" but what is my paint code?

The reason why I ask is I don't want to confuse the guy and the job take longer than expected as I really need my car back by the weekend. Do I just say SilverGrey-Metallic or is one of the numbers the paint code?

Looks like it's A08, but there is somewhere formal you can check - I'm sure someone will post the link to the BMW database where you can enter your VIN...

I can see A08 written on the same sticker as "SilverGrey-Metallic" so I'm pretty confident.
