Can anyone confirm or otherwise that the base audio system does not have speakers behind the door panel grills thanks

IMHO I say yes it does. It lifts the soundstage higher and no longer struggle to hear the music.

I have got Infiniti Kappas in and they are great. Just spliced into the tweeter wire after lifting the waterproofing to get at the wires. Not a big retrofit. I also used the Bavworks Youtube videos to help with taking off the doorcard. About £60 all in.

They do have seperate crossover boxes attached to the speakers. All I did was use heavy industrial velcro to fix it to the back off the door card.

lokking to do this when i change my door cards how are the speakers attached to the door card do you just use some small screws
