Door Sill Protectors

I have beige interior. More often than not, the vinyl portion of the sill get scuffed getting in/out of the Z4. Curious as to why sill protectors (overlays vs. illuminated) haven't been made for our cars similar to the ones I had in my old Vette. Sure would make life easy...

Good question. I would buy them. Seems my sill is always dirty all the way from the metal to the material.

Good point - They are on Jeeps and protect them amazingly even with gravel covered boots stepping on the sills

You could make anyone approaching the car wear a pair of those elasticated overshoes as seen at many swimming pools. To be removed as entering the car. Obviously there is potential for dirt on cloths so dependant upon age and sex that woudl have to come off too :wink:

Once saw a sign at a custom car show where the owner had previous bad experience of scratches while showing, that pronounced along the lines of: 'do not approach or touch unless naked in which case please feel free to enjoy my car'
