Door pin switch wires?

Whilst fitting one of these trackers http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tracker-Vehicle-Theft-Protection-System-Black/dp/B003XDN58K we have had difficulty in locating the door pin switch wires for one of the alerts. Can anyone let us know how/where to locate the wires, and what colour?

The initial impressions of this unit are good. I'll post a report in due course after I have some more experience with it.

Door pin? You mean the push button used to detect if the door is open or not? Zeds do not have them. Door position is detected by a hall sensor on the rotary latch. The GM5 module then decides what to do based on the signal from the sensor.

As such, it is not a true switch, so I'm not sure it's compatible with your device. FWIW, its wires are in the bundle feeding from door to body. The wire on both sides is Brown/Green/Yellow. The other terminal is grounded through the brown wire.

Thanks for the response bcworkz. We did have a suspicion of soemthing like this. Either back to the drawing board or give up! We'll see.
