Door mirror speaker removal-

Hi all -im after removing the black triangle trim(with small round mesh on) thats inside the door mirror-looks like mine has "toothpaste or similar" -i hope in the mesh-thought it would be easier to clean off the car?-thanks

No, you'll just have the wire running into the back of the speaker

The lacquer wasnt looking to good on my door mirror , so today , thought I would remove my door mirror, take it indoors and rub it down and re laquere it , however , while removing the triangular trim , I gave it a tug an broke the bottem cllip , in order to remove this piece of trim , tug the top portion , the clip will pop out , slide up half inch , then tug , trim will be removed with no damage , new trim on order from bmw £12. 00 ,,,,,,,,,,happy days ,,,

rubbed down door mirror, with 1200 we tan dry, 5 coats halfords lacquer, good as new , , a pissed at breaking the cliped thou'
