Door membranes

Did you sound deaden the inside of the door before you replaced the membrane??

Personally didn't bother with adding deadening to the door card, but I'd be interested to hear one side by side to mine to hear any difference.

As above @Matty_Z4, the sound deadening should be applied to the *inside* of the door if not done already.

You don’t need to deaden the door card, but every bit helps.

Was giving this guide a go, I just didn't go as crazy as he did inside the doors he did 10mm worth (2x 4mm layers + 1x 2mm) i just went with 2 layers of 2mm inside the door.

Doing the door cards looked like a good idea (total pain in the ass), so I best finish what I started.

hi mate I only added sound deadening to my door cards as I have midrange speakers and watched the bavsound vid on YouTube which said it helps with speaker sound but to be honest the more the merrier lol have done boot and rear shelf as well
