Door lock actuator removal/replacement

Hi all,
After much research and testing I’m intending to replace my right hand (drivers side) door lock, and hoping to rectify the failure to unlock it with remote. All other locks function correctly. Any tips on doing this? (noting I have already had the door trim off so I’m familiar with that). Can the lock assembly be removed without removing the window glass? Some first hand advice or a link to instructions would be greatly received.

No need to remove the glass. It's all quite straight forward if a little fiddly in places.
