Hi guys, the drivers door handle decided to part company with the door handle carrier on my car last week.
I assumed that it simply needed a new door handle carrier. As it looked like a fiddly job I decided to drop it to a mechanic. He is now telling me that it needs a new carrier and a new complete exterior handle. (€500 approx he says).
I can't understand why the exterior handle would be gone and just think it's the carrier is the problem. Is he feeding me a load of twiddle?
