We all like a bargain, nobody wants to spend top dollar if they don’t have to, and none of us want to pay bmw main stealer prices, but sometimes cheap just doesn’t cut it.
So back in June when I was getting dsc and handbrake and warning triangle lights on the dash, I duly changed the sensors in the side of the master cylinder, and as they were cheap ( I only paid 22 quid for two from fleebay) I changed both so that I wasn’t having to guess which one had failed. This cured my problem back then, but heyho, fast forward to now and got DSC warning light on again. As I had kept the original sensors I refitted these and fault now gone, so it looks like one of the “new” sensors has failed. Goes to show you only get what you paid for.
I still don’t want to pay the 90 odd quid bmw want each for these, but do need to source some better quality ones than the cheap Chinese crap I brought in June.
Why why why, I should be wiser than that
